Walt: To write lyrics to a song.Reflection: I think that Noah and I did quite well with the lyrics, but next time we could make it more of a journey song because it goes a bit off track around the end.

We are going on a journey up a mountain or down a tree were going on a journey yipee in a car or on a boat what about a plane were going to the south pole, to play with the penguins or we can go to the museum and see dinosaurs or we can read stuff about war which is really boring, what, we're going on journey in the air, we’re going on a journey in the deep deep sea, we're going on a journey yippee let's go to america and see Donald trump and say how's the wall going mate we will  go to Raratonga and see all the fish and we will say kia orana to everyone that gives us a dish.

Hello there, my name is Blake, and today i’m going to tell you about a famous journey, that will live on in the hearts of every kiwi for decades to come. The journey  sir Edmund Hillary, a famous new zealander, and Tenzing norgay, a famous nepalese, the sherpa that helped Ed to climb the mountain, that mountain being Everest. They reached the top of the mountain, on the 29 of may 1953 at 11:30 pm. After 7 weeks of dreaming and climbing they had finally reached the summit of Everest.

In 1952 Sir Edmund Hillary  was invited to join the british expedition to climb Everest, the expedition was a failure. So Hillary went back to his normal life as a beekeeper, he farmed bees until he got a telegram, asking him if he would like to join another british expedition, attempting once again to climb mount everest. He accepted the invitation to become the first person to climb mount everest.

He flew to the border of nepal and china there he met Tenzing norgay. When they began to climb the mountain, it was tough but as they went along it became easier for them to climb the mountain, after seven weeks of hard climbing and dreaming Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay made it to a cliff face, it was steep and Completely vertical, Edmund Hillary went first. He found a way to the top,  he squeezed in between a crack in the cliff and using all his body Strength he managed to pull himself up to the top. Once they reached the top of mount everest they each planted a flag from their own country, they stayed on the summit for around fifteen minutes before their oxygen became low and they climbed down to meet their fellow climbers. They told them about how they had reached the top and about the cliff face, ed told the story of how they climbed it and they all returned to their own countries to tell of how the mission was a success.

Reflection: I think that I did quite well discovering the deeper meanings of the songs.

I think that me and Noah did well we weren't going to do sing it our self, but we built the courage, and in the end we decided to sing it our self. I think that we could've improved our singing voices.
