Square Numbers

In my group we learnt about square numbers, and then we were given the task to create a Google drawing about them. Here is mine.

Dr Dischord Description

In my class we have been listening to The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, and were given the task to write a description about one of the characters. I added some story to mine and decided to do it on a slide show. Here it is.

Cricket Slideshow

On Tuesday the 1st of November a cricket instructor called Paddy came to our school and taught us cricket. We played games and learnt lots of things. I learnt that if you're a right hand person and you are on the left side of the wickets you switch hands, and then throw the ball at the wickets. I found it difficult to bat the ball off the cones because you couldn't really get the right height.

Doctor Dischord description

In Room Five our teacher Mrs Idle, has been reading us a book called The Phantom Tollbooth. We had to write a description about one of the characters in the setting. The picture from the book helped me write about it.

Screech. “What’s that?” asked Milo as he opened the door of his car. “What’s what?” asked the Humbug, and Tock simultaneously
“That wagon over there,” said Milo. He crept over and looked through a crack in the  rotten door. There, sitting at a mouldy wooden table, was a dark figure stirring a dark green liquid in what looked like a flower pot.

Self-Portrait

This is my self-portrait, that was inspired by a famous Mexican artist called Frida Kahlo. I used oil pastels to to colour it in. I learnt that the eyes don't go on the top of your face, they go in the middle. Something I found difficult was positioning the hair. Here is my self portrait.
